Hello there Frankfurt! See you at the #ForumCS

Hello there Frankfurt!

This Thursday and Friday, on the 6th and 7th of September, we will be in Frankfurt for the annual meetup of the German Citizen Science Community, the "Forum Citizen Science". We will be present during the entire conference, host a workshop and will also have a SPOTTERON stand.

So if you want to find our location, just lookout for the SPOTTERON rollup.

The Conference is a platform for discussion, exchange of experiences and networking for representatives from society, science and politics to actively shape the future of Citizen Science in Germany. It will take place at the Senckenberg Natural Research Society in Frankfurt. The "Forum Citizen Science" was organised by the team of the German Citizen Science platform "Bürger schaffen wissen" (approx: Citizens create knowledge"), which we already met at the Austrian Citizen Science Conference in Salzburg at the beginning of this year, and the Senckenberg Society for Natural Research.

The programme is filled with many interesting talks, workshops and project presentations from all over Germany and in the two following cases also Austria. On Thursday our colleagues and partners from "Österreich forscht", Daniel Dörler and Florian Heigl are part of the conference programme. They will present a talk related to the Austrian Citizen Science platform: "Achieving more together - Community Building on Österreich forscht". On Friday, it is our turn: SPOTTERON's Philipp will host a workshop on "data protection on Citizen Science platforms".

We're looking forward to an interesting programme and exciting conversations, please don't hestitate to get in touch and talk to us in case you are also there!
